Drum Roll - The January 28th Stampin' Brunch Bunch Surprise

Oh my stars (or hearts), I could hardly wait to show the girls the surprise last Saturday.  It took me ALL DAY to design this - wasted more paper and ideas.  But this is the finished project.  Everyone loved them and so did my husband.  Believe it or not, his favorite one is the pastel heart.  I used the largest heart Framelit from a Sizzix set that I bought to make two hearts for each hanging design.  The back is actually Whisper White paper that was dry embossed using the Perfect Details swirly pattern Texturz Plate from Stampin' Up.  The circle was also embossed with the same pattern.  BUT the most fun was putting the pleated ribbon around the circle.  This is the best ribbon!  We've all been putting scrunched ribbons on our cards - well this ribbon took all the guess work out of putting around any shape.  There is a stitched line right down the middle and after you put the Red Sticky Tape on the back you turn it over and actually line the ribbon from the front side along the stitching!  Voile - perfectly aligned!  The pastel design actually has the new Large Pearls from Stampin' Up but colored with a Sharpie pen!  All the rage this season girls! :))))))  Also note that I used tone-on-tone to decorate the butterfly with the Fresh Vintage stamp set that you can earn free by purchasing $50 of product from Stampin' Up! from now until the end of March.  Let's go see . . .

What's cookin':
Stamps:  Fresh Vintage (Sale-a-Bration catalog)
Paper:  Whisper White; Twitterpated DSP; Riding Hood Red; Bashful Bride; Baja Breeze
Ink:  Riding Hood Red; Bashful Bride; Baja Breeze
Accessories:  Heart-shaped Framelit from Sizzix; Beautiful Butterflies Die; 3/8" Pleated Satin Ribbon in Riding Hood Red, Bashful Bride and Baja Breeze; Large Pearl Basic Jewels; Pink Sharpie pen; Perfect Details Texturz Plate; 3" circle die
